River of Fish 2015

River of Fish was designed to engage participants across the community, combining creativity with education, working with our partners Woodend Barn and The River Dee Trust.  ​Artists and members of the community made an installation of 230 ceramic salmon and a willow 'whopper' adorned with ceramic scales.  The fish were mounted on steel rods, and swam around Deeside for several months in summer 2015, before coming to rest in homes all around the country after being auctioned for charity at the end of the fishing season.
